		<description>You remind me that we should post detailed information about a-g on the blog and the SVEF website. In a nutshell, it&#039;s the 15 courses that the University of California and California State University require for admission (with a C or better grade). They are: a) two years of history and social science; b) four years of English; c) three years of college prep math, four years recommended; d) two years of lab science, three recommended; e) 2 years of foreign languge; f) one year  of arts courses; g) one year of college-prep electives. The UC system must approve every district&#039;s a-g courses, after reviewing the syllabus and course materials.
