Off for the week

Next up: Inaugural advice to Tom Torlakson
By John Fensterwald - Educated Guess

TOP-Ed and my column Educated Guess will be on vacation next week. I’ll be catching up with reading and family and doing some travel. If something really important breaks, I’ll report it. So sign up for the daily e-mail, if you haven’t already, just to be safe. I’ll be resuming on Jan. 3 with some advice to incoming Supt. of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson from seven sharp observers of California education.

Enjoy the holidays and thanks for reading and commenting this past year. We will need to share good ideas and points of view to get us through the difficult year ahead.
