Tamara Hurley

Tamara Hurley is a California native, a product of the state’s public education system, and a 24-year resident of San Diego. Trained as a scientist, she has spent the past eight years volunteering on behalf of her children’s public schools in various capacities. She is a board member of Educate Our State, a statewide, non-profit, parent-led, grassroots organization fighting for high-quality public K-12 education in California.
